The Pod Design Concept

Notice the structural elegance of the pod in the background sketch. Engineered for minimal waste, natural strength, and flexible off-grid living:

1
Elevated Pier Foundation

Adapts effortlessly to sloping terrain without expensive grading or heavy concrete slabs.

2
Deep Rafter Overhang & Porch

Provides natural passive solar shading during high summer and sheltered outdoor space.

3
Sloped Rain-Shedding Roof

Engineered to shed snow and seamlessly integrate optional rainwater collection channels and solar panels.

4
Modular Phased Construction

Build the core shelter on what you have today; add utilities and expand footprint on your schedule.

5
Costs ~1/14th of a Standard Tiny House

At $4,300 turnkey, the Pod costs around 1/14th of a standard tiny house ($65,000–$85,000), making mortgage-free living real.

Frequently Asked Inquiries

How does buying a Pod work?

We evaluate your site, climate, and desired siding/paint. To begin your build, you give $3,000 upfront for materials and initial shop labor. The remaining balance (plus any delivery mileage) is paid on installation day as the work is concluded.

Where do you deliver or transport pods?

We are based in the Southeastern United States, with domestic delivery and freight transport options available across the US. Depending on your location, site access, and preferences, pods can be transported as assembled units or flat-packed modular component kits for on-site assembly.

Where do I sign up for the workshop?

Enrollment for our hands-on workshop—located one hour North of Asheville, NC—is hosted in collaboration with Sustainable Life School. Visit their site for official booking.
